Our Groups
We have 3 different learning groups according to children's ages. These are the Bears, Elephants and Tigers. Our daily routine sees us split into our different groups for 20 minutes during the morning session and 20 minutes in the afternoon. The majority of the time children are able to play together in a larger group.
Bear Group - 2 year olds +
Gill Judge is the keyworker for the Bear Group. She has a wealth of experience working in a nursery setting and also in Primary schools.
Bear group children are gently introduced to the Preschool routine, with plenty of small group activities enabling them to settle quickly and gain confidence.
Elephant Group - 3 year olds
Su Porter Scott is the keyworker for the Elephants. Su is a dedicated and experienced teacher.
The elephant group children are generally involved in similar activities to the older tiger group, but at a more reduced pace and at a level that suits their age group.
Tiger Group - 4 + year olds
Sarah Wheatley-Hince - Manager and Keyworker for the Tigers. Sarah has worked at the Nursery for 15 years and has owned and managed it for over 10 years.
The tiger group children are involved in challenging fun activities that completely prepare them for a Primary School environment.
